62: Dr. Said Five Years to Live - Darius Gilchrist

My guest today is Darius Gilchrist. At the age of 23 he was diagnosed with ALS. Doctors gave him only 2 to 5 years to live. Instead of feeling sorry for himself and just letting this disease take over his body, he decided that he needed to live the best life he could and conquer his bucket list one item at a time. Since then he has traveled the world, gone skydiving, attended world class music festivals, moved out to California to pursue his career, & much more.

We talked about all kinds of stuff including his upbringing, how he came out of the closet in high school, his experience in college, his diagnosis, and of course his adventures all over the planet.

I want to thank Darius for being on the show, sharing his stories, and being vulnerable with us. Make sure to follow him on Instagram where he posts amazing photos and stories from his adventures: @DGiltm
