43: CEO of a Top 30 Emerging Company - Sean Henry
My guest today is Sean Henry.
I stumbled upon Sean while I was watching some videos about cars on a YouTube channel called VinWiki. He was a lot younger than the rest of the guys on the channel, but I wasn't really sure how old he was. I did a little bit of Facebook stalking, and I reached out to him. Of course you never know how a cold message will go over, but he was really friendly and after a few messages back and forth we set up a time to meet at his office to record a podcast.
I knew Sean was a huge car guy, but what I didn't know is that he runs a company called STORD that he founded 2 years ago. They've raised a quarter of a million dollars in funding, and Inc.com named them top 30 emerging companies of 2017. The craziest part? Sean is only 20 years old, and he's currently a student at Georgia Tech.
